Discover Pambula Preschool
Our History
Pambula Preschool is a not-for-profit, community-based preschool. The preschool began operating at the present site in 1976.
Prior to this a group of young parents got together in 1969 with the aim of establishing a preschool in the district. The Imlay Preschool commenced operation in 1971 in a hall at Pambula. After several years of advocacy, community fundraising and Commonwealth grants, the first classroom was officially opened in February 1976.
In 1980 the name of the preschool was changed to Pambula Preschool Kindergarten Association. Due to community demand the second classroom was added in 1987. Today, Pambula Preschool enrols over 95 children across the week and employs 21 highly qualified locals.
